Well it has been an amazing couple of weeks!!

Pre-Devia:
Jeremy and I were both down to the wire getting projects done. I was finishing my armour and costume working on it in between school and work. I was also getting first aid gear ready. Jeremy was making the Transport circle, writing mods, etc. Needless to say it was a busy week.

Devia:
It was awesome! They had some first event problems but overall it went very well. It was the first time I had played a PC (Player Character). Quite a different experience. My character is a 6' 1" blue lizard. I'm quite happy with how my full costume and equipment came out. Unfortunately to my knowledge there were no pictures taken of me. So I can't post them here. Pre-Alliance Oregon:
Jeremy and I were both pretty burned out after the Devia event. I had a day to recover before going back to school and work. Then we had to start getting ready for the Alliance Oregon May event! We got monstercamp ready loaded the truck and trailer. I was preparing the food so I figured out the menu and shopping list. Two weekends in a row is not something I'm going to be doing on a regular basis.

Alliance Oregon:
I unfortunately had to work Friday night. So for Friday I did the food shopping went to work then headed to site. I got there around 1AM Saturday morning. I proceeded to spend the majority of the weekend cooking. There were more people that I had to cook for than I had planned. There was still enough food but only just. I got out to NPC only once early Sunday morning as a ratling. I had a great event just spending time with my friends there. I however didn't get out as the NPC character I was supposed to play.

Me cooking instead of playing at events has sort of become a pattern. So I have been relieved of my kitchen duties. I've been told I cook quite well but I just spend too much time doing it, which is quite true. It takes me the better part of 2-3 hours to prepare each meal. I'll be glad to be out of the kitchen.

A good couple of weeks. It seems weird not to have anything planned for the immediate future though. The next event I plan to attend is going to be in September. Plenty of time to work on a variety of projects.
